This is a good example of the Great Depression, because it shows how poor the people of America were. It also shows that the negroes were segregated from the whites, because it was a time of racism as well. This is also a great example of this time, because since there was no money to be had, people had to live off of natural resources such as water from lakes, and they had to pay crazy taxes on food, which was really difficult for the people. Racism and poverty were huge down turns for the Americans during the Great Depression. This is why this photo is a great emaxple of the time of the Great Depression.

This picture is another good example of the Great Depression. It shows such racism between the people of the United States, because they make the negroes and the whites go to seperate churches. This is completely wrong towards the people of that time, because even when they have a time to worship their god/gods, they still have to be seperated from each other. The Great Depression wasn't only a time where people were in great debts, but it was a time when people showed such terrible racism. This picture really means a lot to me because of these reasons. This is why this picture is a great example of the Great Depression.
